Muffler removed

Step 2:
Resize hole in linkage plate, drill with 1/4" drill bit
|
|
|
Step 3:
Remove linkage arm nut and cover plate
|
|
|
Step 4:
Remove spring washer
|
|
|
Spring washer removed
|
|
|
Step 5:
Re-install cover plate and nut.
Do not overtighten nut, pull the throttle arm full open and let it go. It should return all the way by itself.

|
Step 6:
Install compression fitting to the linkage plate using the button head bolt.
Make sure the plate that holds the compression fitting is to the bottom of the linkage plate with 2 washers between them.

|
Step 7:
Install the cable stop from the bottom side of the linkage arm.
Slide the cable through the stop then re-install the screw.
|

|
Finsihed Installation
Make sure you test the throttle before attemting to ride. Make sure the throttle works freely and returns totally to idle.
